What started as a modest initiative has since evolved into a thriving hub of fellowship and connection within our church. Through divine provision, Lighthouse Cafe has experienced remarkable growth. We are grateful for the generous weekly donations from Carl's Donuts, as well as the gifted decor that enhances our space. With minimal overhead expenses, we have successfully maintained profitability while fulfilling our mission to serve our church family.
Today, Lighthouse Cafe is more than just a fundraiser; it is a welcoming environment where church members can gather after services to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, treat themselves to a fresh donut, or share an affordable lunch with family. It stands as a testament to God's provision and goodness, embodying a spirit of joy and connection for our community. A Dream Brought to Life
Lighthouse Cafe began as a heartfelt initiative designed to support the Bible Bucks store, a program aimed at engaging children in Sunday school, fostering their understanding of scripture, and encouraging them to invite friends to church. The Bible Bucks store rewards children for their participation and dedication; however, maintaining an inventory of toys and prizes posed financial challenges. Recognizing this need, Sister Joy envisioned a sustainable way to support the store while benefiting the church community, and thus, Lighthouse Cafe was born.
